Business Development Officers – Nairobi

An energetic and self-motivated business development and sales individual to join a leading results-oriented team.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. 1. Develop sales plans in coordination with the Business Development Team Leader and General Manager to achieve set revenue goals.
   2. Provide recommendations for business growth and problem resolution.
   3. Respond to the client queries regarding the products in a timely fashion.
   4. Develop product quotations for new and existing customers.
   5. Develop creative strategies to retain the clients.
   6. Develop in-depth knowledge about business development practices, marketing activities, prospective clients and industry trends.
   7. Develop strong customer relationships in order to generate high volume of prospective clients.
   8. Manage customer calls and appointments effectively for new opportunities.
   9. Meeting new customers to sell insurance and financial products.
   10. Develop into a team leader role and assume relevant responsibilitie

 Qualifications

1. A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a business related field.
2. Experience in insurance or bank products sales will be an added advantage.
3. Energetic and very aggressive.
4. Target oriented.
5. Excellent knowledge in computer applications.
6. Knowledge of the insurance and banking market trends in Kenya.
7. Communication, organizational, negotiation, and analytical skills.
8. High standards of integrity and a team player.
